Observations from November 6th

On November 6th there was a comparable amount of activity to that on October 30th, showing that the microaquarium has largely maintained the vitality it gained from the food pellet that was added on October 25th.  On the 6th of November I located a few more species, including a worm and a water-bear (as a classmate told me it was called).  I am yet to obtain official classifications for the species observed but I will confirm them this week.
This video is a short clip of the water bear or Tardigrade I spotted in the aquarium.  The water bear is visible in the bottom right of the video clip. (William 2013)

The video on the left is a short video of a large worm I spotted on the bottom of the micro-aquarium. It can be seen sliding across quickly.

The water bear is visible in this picture near the center among the scattered debris.  It should be noted that the water bear tended to stay towards the bottom of the micro aquarium, presumably to use the dirt as shelter. (William 2013)

Some other notable features from this week include a large amount of debris scattered all over the aquarium, presumably composed of waste and dead micro-organisms.
